Project Overview

What is Adopt An Airman?

Adopt An Airman is a project developed and sponsored by Cadence International. It facilitates an opportunity for people to sponsor (or adopt) a military member* during this Christmas season.

Our mission is to tangibly show the love of Christ to all branches of our military stationed overseas who are separated from their biological families this Christmas.

Why do our military need adopted?

Believe it or not, many of our military do not receive gifts or cards from home during the Christmas season! This project is a tangible way to support our military and remind them that they are loved. (See History page for more details.)

How can I help?

Would you consider “adopting” a military member this Christmas? We will send you a picture and personal information to help you shop. All gifts need to be wrapped and mailed to us, where we will personally deliver them to your Adoptee. Our hope is to involve them in our “family Christmas” on Christmas morning, but as some are required to work, we still do our best to ensure a personal and special Christmastime with them.

This is also a fun project for a family, youth group, small group or business. So spread the word, and make this a Christmas to remember!

*Adoptees must be single active-duty, single activated-reservists or guard, deployed (married or single), or spouses of deployed military personnel.
